The Tuttle family is a large family who do little work and enjoy socialising and gambling on cock fights. When Jon Hall returns with a new fighting bird they stake everything they have as a bet, and loose. They then manage to salvage a ship with gives them a small fortune which they rapidly spend and become penniless again. This is a slightly strange film that is part morality tale and part comedy.
