Three very different women are released from prison on the same morning and have different ways of coping with life after prison and dealing with the people from their past. This film gives a view of life in 1950's London and the problems of living as an ex-prisoner. It has an early performance from Joan Collins, but it is the performance of Yvonne Mitchell that carries the film. She brings a charm and elegance to the film that compares with Joan Collins more trashy character and Kathleen Harrison as the older woman.
