Epic version of the classic Greek story of the siege of Troy written by Homer. The big battle scenes are impressive, but it is let down by the smaller personal scenes as it is hard to warm to the characters except for Brad Pitt and Rose Byrne. Diane Kruger's character lacks the charisma needed to be an effective Helen.
