A computer games programmer gets taken inside a computer to do battle with the master program to escape. The computer graphics now look dated, but this film was ahead of its time in using computer graphics and presenting the workings of computers to a film going public and hence was met with mixed reviews. It was the first film to make extensve use of computer generated images bothas backgrounds and as moving objects, notably the motorcycle race sequence.
