When an attractive woman from a country club is murdered, a policeman has to sort through all the suspects who have various motives for wanting her killed. This is a good British murder mystery with plenty of suspects and twists. There are good performances from John Mills as the policeman and Charles Coburn as one of the suspects. Barbara Bates gives good support as the love interest and neice of Charles Coburn.
