A count (Christopher Lee) is drawn and quartered after he killed 12 virgins and vows revenge on those who condemmed him. Years later two of the descendents (Karin Dor and Lex Barker) arrive at the counts castle where they meet the reincarnation of the count who then sets out to get his revenge. This is a reasonable version of the Edgar Allan Poe story The Pit and the Pendulum, though it does have a lot of running around tunnels and women screaming.
