An American returns to England where she was as a child after her now deceased aunt sets her a challenge in order to inherit a large house. The big problem with the film is that the lead character is an unpleasant, obnoxious America with no respect or understanding of the culture of another country especially since she had spent time there as a child. Unusually for Reel One, some of it was actually filmed in England including the Swanage steam railway and the plot is slightly different being a genealogical search into family history. The only performance of note is by Esther Toward as the young daughter.
