A scientist (Vincent Price) believes that fear is caused by a creature living in peoples spines and can kill them is they cannot scream. He meets up with a couple who run a movie theatre and the wife is death and dumb, so the scientist and husband each conspire to use her for their own ends. This is not one of Vincent Price's better films.
