A thief (Douglas Fairbanks) falls in love with the daughter (Julanne Johnston) of the ruler of Bagdad, but in order to win her hand in marriage he has to go on a quest for a rare treasure, whilst fighting off three rival suitors. This is one of Douglas Fairbanks best films and one of the first action adventure films. It has some good effects given the period it was made.
