In a small 19th century European country a countess (Betty Grable) is romanced by two men (Douglas Fainbanks Jr and Cesar Romero) including one who is a foreign soldier. Events then mirror events that happened 300 years earlier when her identical predecessor saved the country. This is an uninspiring film, the musical numbers of not memorable and the plot weak. It is basically an excuse for Betty Grable to flounce arround in some impressive gowns.
