In the middle of a revolution in Nigeria a group of American soldiers led by Bruce Willis are sent in to extract a doctor (Monica Bellucci). She refuses to leave without the poeple she is treating and so they start a trek through the jungle to cross the border chased by the rebels. Most of the film is a stardard battle in the jungle film, though there are a few scenes that attempt to show something of the horror of civil war.
