Comment/Synopsis

Two brothers (Clark Gable and Cameron Mitchell) rescue a woman (Jane Rissell) from indians on their way to joina cattle drivefrom Texas to Montana. On the drive they have to contend with the elements and indians. Jane Russell initially has a love hate relationship with Clark Gable which is complicated further when the owner (Robert Ryan) arrives and she is attracted by his ambition. This is a mix of western, comedy, romance, action and the odd song from Jane Russell added for good measure. There is a lack of plot and the film is too long and slow but the banter and screen presence of Clark Gable and Jane Russell make it worth watching.
