A woman (Maggie Lawson) wishes to have a perfect Christmas for her family and the lead woman (Jamel Parrish) from her favourite Christmas movie sppears in real life to help her. She arrives with the book of rules for making a Christmas movie and uses them to help the woman. However it soon becomes apparent that the rules in movies do not always apply in real life. This is an entertaining film as Hallmark sends up it own Christmas films as it highlights all the standard elements that Hallmark uses in its Christmas films. This is best appreciated if you are familiar with Hallmark Christmas films.
