Comment/Synopsis

A man (William Collier) is harrassed by his family for not earning enough money at the newspaper where he works. When he is sacked, he and his friend (Russell Hopton) pretend to go to work but start writing home spun truths for the radio which brings him success. The weakness of this film is why William Collier puts up with the treatment by his family. None of them come across as very endearing.
