A woman (Norma Shearer) rejects the idea of marriage despite a man (Robert Montgomery) who wants to marry her but is a playboy interested in his social life and a man (Neil Hamilton) who also does not want to marry but sees her in between his business trips. She goes with him to Mexico and then finds out he has a wife in Paris. This is a pre-code film of the idle rich and their relationships, with Norma Shearer both rejecting and wanting love, enjoying the high life but not finding happiness.
