A well known highway man (Richard Dix) takes an orphan woman (Irene Dunne) under his wing to start her on her singing career eeven though it means him getting caught. The plot really makes no sense but the film is made by the performance of Irene Dunne and her singing. Mary Boland has fun as the woman trying to get noticed as a singer at the expense of the more talented Irene Dunne.
