Comment/Synopsis

Mark Hamil and Harrison Ford help Carrie Fisher and the rebel alliance against the Empire by attacking a space station that can destroy an entire planet. They are aided by Alex Guiness as the Jedi Knight with his light sabre who battles the evil Darth Vader. This is one of the greatest all action sci-fi films and said by some to be one of the best films made. It also contans one of the early examples of comupter generated graphics in the visuals for the briefing for the final attack on the death star. One of the other first was the interaction of two robots R2D2 and C3POthat had a relationship outside of human interaction. The design of C3PO is based on the much earlier Maria from the classic 1927 Metropolis.
