Comment/Synopsis

A lawyer (William Powell) and his girlfriend (Ginger Rogers) are drawn into a murder investigation when a woman disappears in the middle of a play and a man is killed in his appartment. This is not a great amateur sleuth thriller, but Ginger Rogers brings some light comic charm and elegance to the film.
