A woman (Bernice Claire) is dating a pleasant by boring man (Alexander Gray) but then is attracted to a new man in town (Lawrence Gray). Her sister (Inez Courtney) then persuades the boring man to do things to make the woman jealous so she will marry him. The film is based on the Richard Rogers / Lorenz Hart stage musical. It does suffer from being filmed almost as a stage version. there are also problems with some of the shot framing and editing. it was one of the few films made by Bernce Claire who had more of a career as a singer than actor. Louise Fzenda gives a good performance as the mother going from being subjected to her husband to being the dominant partner.
