Comment/Synopsis

Two salmon fishermen (George Raft and Henry Fonda) in Alaska who are freinds, become rivals when one teams up with Russian fishermen (Akim Tamiroff) fishing illegally. Ths is played against the background of their relationhip with two very different women (Dorothy Lamour and Louise Platt). This is not a great film, but the performances from Henry Fonda, Dorothy Lamour and Louise Platt make the film watchable, even though the sea lion almost steals the film.
