A wealthy woman dies by cyanide poisoning at a party surrounded by friends and family. When the police draw a blank, the husband invites eveyone present back fo another party. This is the Agatha Christie novel transposed to 1980's America. Of her novels this is one that survives being updated, but the production is very much dated to the 1980's, think Agatha Christie does the television series Dallas. The acting is not great but, Deborah Ruffin and Pamela Bellwood give good performances within the context of the film.
