Comment/Synopsis

This is a charming musical version of the Cinderella story with a strong British cast from the 1970's, lavish costumes and an Oscar nominated score from the Sherman brothers. It does however suffer from a cast that are not great singers and a production style that is more a film of a stage production rather than a film.
