Bloody horror set in 19th century USA. A headless horseman terrorises a village and Johnny Depp is the out of town policeman sent to investigate, by using scientific methods to solve a crime carried out by a legendary headless ghost. Dark, visually arresting and with twists of plot and good performances froma strong cast.
