Comment/Synopsis

A mild mannered clerk is sack after 20 years and after tasting a special drink goes on a few wild adventures. THis was Harold Lloyd's final film after a 10 year gap. Despite being written and directed by Preston Sturges this is a disappointing film. By this stage of his career Preston Sturges ha left Paramount and his career and films were in ecline. The comedy is uneven and below the standard of earlier Harold Lloyd films. The best being the scene with the lion on the ledge of a building. The first section of the film is footage from the 1925 Harold Lloyd film The Freshman.
