An engineer tries to persuade a railway company to build an new type of high speed train, but they are stuck in their old ways and turn him down. He does persuade an engine building company to make a prototype, but when it losses a race against a steam engine the project is shelved. However when the son of the company boss needs an iron lung rapidly transported across country, he has to convince them he has solved the problem witth the speed of the train. The plot is not great, but a film where a train (Burlington Zephyr) is listed in the credits cannot be bad and Sally Blane brings some charm and energy to the film.
