Ginger Rogers is a reporter undercover working for a man associated with gangsters. When he is killed she investigates the death with the help of her rival reporter Lyle Talbot. The plot is not great, but the best part is the interplay between the two rival reporters Ginger Rogers and Lyle Talbot. As always Ginger Rogers is worth watching and as usual her charm shows through in an otherwise average film of the period.
