Comment
Just before the first world war, James Mason (in his last film) hosts a shotting party at his country estate. The film attempts to deal with the socail changes coming to British society as the aristocracy start to loose their role in society and the working class start to find theirs. However the film has insufficient social comment and a lack of character development and a lack of plot. Despite a strong cast list, this is a disappointing film.
