A mysterious hypnotist (Chester Morris) with power over his assistant (Marla English)regresses her back to her her former life 300 years ago and into a prehistoric sea creature that appears to kill people. Tom Conway is looking to exloit them for money whilst Lance Fuller is setting out to expose Chester Morris as a fraud. The plot is not great, but the man man in the monster suit is much better than many of the creature features from this period.
