An actress starts an affair that leads to his divorce, but she drops him for a richer man, who she marries, but then he takes up with another actress who she has taught how to catch married men. Whilst the title was set to be controversial and did attract audiences, this is less about sex and more melodramatic morality tale as Louise Glaum gets her come uppance from her own protégé. This is well produced and better acted then many films of this period. Louise Glaum plays the vamp, as she is lowered onto the stage singing from a spiders web and also the wife coming to terms with a straying husband.
