Howard Keel goes into town to find a bride and comes back married to Jane Powell. Only when she gets back to their rural cabin does she find he has 6 single brothers. Whislt she tries to make them more civilised, he comes up with a novel plan to get wives for all his brothers. This is a typical musical comedy from the 1950's, that is good as an entertaining musical. It was one of Stanley Donen's most successful films as a director.
