A young woman gets a job in a boarding house and is then immediately fired. The girl responsible for getting her fired offers her a room share and gets her a job in the chorous line where she works. Through the girl and songwriter boyfriend she meets a man and starts an affair, only to find that he is already married, but trying to divorce his wife without loosing all his money to her. The plot is a typical romance plot with no special twist and at times it gets sidetracked into showing off some novelty acts. Cecilia Parker is pleasant in the lead role with good support from Sue Carol as her friend, though Natalie Moorhead only has a very small part as the wife.
