A teenage boy finds an anonymous love letter in his locker which he thinks is from a beautiful girl. He enlists the help of a friend and she suggests he write her a letter. However she rewrites the letter and the reply, but they end up in the hands of their parents and cause chaos. The plot is not great, being a reworking of the mistaken identity theme in a 1980's teen movie. Whilst Kelly Preston shows off her assets, it is the performance of Lori Loughlin, in an early role, as the unrequited lover who gives the best performance.
