Ian MCshane is a reporter on the verge of proving the identity of a serial killer, but he then dies. He appears to trainee reporter Scarlett Johansson in a magic show by Woody Allen and persudes her to continue the investigation. She meets the suspect (Hugh Jackman) and fall in love with whilst trying to prove he is a serial killer. Scarlett Johansson gives s solid performance but Woody Allen's character is annoying.
