Audrey Hepburn is the shy daughter of the chauffeur of a rich family who is infatuated by one of the sons (William Holden) who is something of a womanising playboy. She goes to Paris to learn to become a chef and comes back a sophisticated woman. The other brother (Humphrey Bogart) who is the more staid and who runs the family business, starts to fall for her. Audrey Hepburn uses all he charm and elegance to entrance both men and she rightly got the Best Actress Oscar nomination for her role. Humphrey Bogart gives a good supporting performance in a different role as the conservative, businessman but who is entranced by Audrey Hepburn. The production and direction from Billy Wilder enhances both the story and the actors performances.
