A group of tourists led by guide Radha Mitchell go on a boat trip in the Australian wilderness. All goes well until their boat is attacked by a crocodile and they end up on a small sand bank with the tide rising and the crocodile starting to eat people. This is a good film and the suspense and shocks are well managed. The initial antagonism between the tour guide (Radha Mitchell) and the American journalist (Michael Vatan) develops well into begrudging respect as they go through their trials.
