Whilst King Richard is away on a Crusade, his brother Prince John is the tyranical ruler in his place, until the mysterious Robin Hood starts the fight back for the people and King Richard whilst rescuing Maid Marrion, the love of his life. This is a big scale version of the Robin Hood story with Douglas Fairbanks having fun particularly in the second half when he becomes Robin Hood.
