A wealthy man is murdered in his own home and there are plenty of suspects and more murders. The police investigate and their investigation is hindered by a female news reporter. There are plenty of twists in the plot. There is a good supporting performance from Alastair Sim as the bumbling side kick policeman, though Judy Gunn's character as the reporter is annoying.
