Comment/Synopsis

An American woman (Norma Shearer) marries an English Lord (Herbert Marshall) and they are hapily married until she meets up with an old flame (Robert Montgomery). The press make out she is having an affair, so he considers divorce and she needs to decide between her husband and a former lover. Norma Shearer is the passionate woman and Herbert marshall is the uptight English gentleman. Norma Shearer was married to the director Irving Thalberg.
