When his sister (Veda Ann Borg) dies in mysterious circumstances, her brother goes to investigate with a detective and finds that her husband (John Carradine) is a Nazi scientist who is building an army of zombies and has turned his wife into a zombie. This is less horror and more mystery and suffers from being caught between the two. John Carradine is suitably sinister but Veda Ann Borg is underused though Gale Storm does fine with her character as the secretary.
