Comment/Synopsis

A prosecution lawyer (Fred MacMurray) ends up taking a female thief (Barbara Stanwyck) home for Christmas after he arranges bail for her. As she experiences a loving family at Christmas she reforms her life, seeks redemption and falls in love. This is an entertaining romantic comedy thanks to a good script and good performances from Barbara Stanwyck and Fred MacMurray. This was the first of four films with this pairing of actors and one of the better if lesser known Christmas films.
