The gentleman, cricketer and thief (David Niven) is staying at a country house where he is tempted to steal a necklace, but things are complicated by the presence of the police also staying at the house. This is a disappointing film, that despite the presence of David Niven and Olivia de Haviland, is very bland and uninspiring.
