A profligate man (Wallace MacDonald) gets drawn into diamond smuggling after writing dud cheques to try and cover his gambling debts. It escalates into people getting killed and meanwhile his dancer girlfriend (Clara Bow) stands by him despite his faults. There is a very melodramatic sub-plot relating to his brother that he injured whilst he was drunk. The plot is quite weak and melodramatic. Clara Bow has a comparatively small part and is not enough to liven up the film.
