A cub reporter gets a big story linking the daughter of a politician with the murder of a rival politician. When it becoms apparent that she was not responsible for the murder he has to work to find the conspiracy responsible for the murder. This was Frank Capra's last silent film and has good performances from Douglas Fairbanks Jr and Jobyna Ralston and a good car chase at the end, but it is the the performance of Mildred Harris as the gangsters girlfrind that stands out. Whilst it is mainly a crime drams that are some nice comic moments particularly from Douglas Fairbanks Jr.
