This film is a series of musical numbers that are linked by a practically nonexistent plot. James Stewart and Paulette Goddard are good as expected, but are unable to bring up the film due to a poor script and the lack of direction as it is not clear what sort of film it is supposed to be. This is disappointing given the quality of the cast.
