Charlton Heston is Buffalo Bill and Forrest Tucker is Wild Bill Hickok who are setting up a mail coach service to California across Indian country and Rhonda Flemming is trying to stop then to get California to separate from the Union. The story line is not great and there are allt he usual stereoypes in the film. CHarlton Heston gives a reasonable performance with the material but the talents of Rhonda Fleming and Jan Sterling are underused.
