Buck Rogers (Buster Crabbe) awakes from suspended animation in the year 2500, where he helps the people fight against an evil warlord that is trying to take over the earth. He is helped by his trusty side kick who was also in suspended animation and a beautiful woman (Constance Moore) from the future. This is a film made but cutting together episodes from an earlier (1939) serial and was a fun piece of low budget sci-fi from the late 1930's. This edited version cuts about 4 hours of the original serial down to just over 1 hour and so there are jumps in the story line that makes the flow uneven. Buster Crabbe's acting is not the greatest and Constance Moore's character could have been stronger.
