A scientist and his daughter have adventures looking for an ivory disc with a secret formula for poisonous gas whilst being chased by a gang also after the formula. This is very different in style to the original 1914 Perils Of Pauline serial with Pearl White. This has a lot of stock archive footage cut into the the scenes acted out set, some of which are relatively impressive, although many are clearly models and parts of the production are inconsistent. .
