A mother takes her daughter off to Hawaii to marry her off to a wealthy man, but her fahter employs a man who he thinks is poor to break up the potential marriage. He then gets his friend to pretened to be the rich owner of suger pantation and both of them are then in love with her whilst trying to discover if she wants wealth or love from a marriage. The plot does not really make sense in places, but the real problem with the film is Lynn Barri's character who is not a likable character who changes her affectins at a whim. Anthiny Quinn appeares in an early comic role.
