A singer in a Japanese girl band, leaves the band to become an actress, but then her life starts to unravel as time and elusion intermingle. As she changes her career to agrees to a rape scene, nude photographs and has a stalker. All the while she imagines her alter ego who still wants to bepop singer. The director messes with time, delusion, illusion, fact and fantasy so the viewer really does not know what is or is not reality. This is set against a background of violence and sexual violence. This Japanese film is disturbing and yet attention grapping as well.
