This is a curious films that follows the marriage of a couple (ann harding and Fredric March) during and after their wedding day, despite the pressures from his girlfriend and her boyfriend and his infidelity. There is a strange morality that highlights the 1920's different view of the place of men and women in marriage and the attitude in extra-martial affairs. This is most notable for being the first film role for Ann Harding.
